Attar is a Persian word, which means fragrance, scent, or essence. Attars are made from multiple oils, sometimes as many as 30 or 40 blended together from centuries-old secret Attari family formulas.

Varied essential oils, aroma compounds or aromatic chemicals are mixed to made perfume that give pleasant fragrance to human, living space, animal etc. The perfume compounds are either manufactured synthetically or these are extracted from the plants. Different herbs, spices, coriander, flowers, bergamot were used to make perfume compounds or attars.
