Mandrake
Scientific name: Podophyllum peltatum

Medicinal value
This herb is a strong gland stimulants and is used to treat skin problems, digestion, and chronic liver diseases. Pregnant women should not use this herb

Religious importance
It is believed that mandrake is used in homes as a powerful protection and if carried by men it promotes fertility and cure impotency.

Marigold
Scientific name: Calendula spp.

Medicinal value
This herb is used to treat headaches, earaches and reduces fevers. It is excellent for heart, circulation and to heal wounds and bruises.
