Nutrition: Total calories in this vegetable salad is 37 and total fat is 0.1 g. It also contains vitamins A and C as well as calcium and iron. As it is made from total vegetables and fruits, it has negeligble cholesterol.
Ingredients:
Cabbage cut into small cubes 1 cup
Broccoli florets (parboiled) 1 cup
Ginger chopped 1/2 tsp
Garlic chopped 1/4 tsp
Celery chopped 1 tsp
Pineapple cubes 1 cup
Fresh pineapple juice 1/4 cup
Oil 1/2 tsp
Freshly ground black pepper (for garnish) 1/4 tsp
Instructions:
  • Pour oil in a pan and heat
  • Add ginger, garlic and celery. Stir-fry for a couple of seconds.
  • Now add cabbage, broccoli, pineapple cubes and pineapple juice
  • Cook over high flame until the juice dries.
  • Use freshly ground black pepper to garnish
  • Serve warm to have a delicious treat.
